Applications Most suitable for heating barrels requiring higher temperatures than considered suitable for a mica type heater. The coil heater is rugged and can stand exposure to temperatures as high as 1000ºF. Standard Features The external sheath is constructed of stainless steel with a square cross-section. The resistance wire is enclosed in the sheath and is compacted with MgO powder similar to other Gaumer heating elements. Options Custom designed diameters, heat patterns, and terminal directions are available by contacting Gaumer. |
