Ammonia Vaporizers
A manufacturer of NOX reduction equipment needed to vaporize anhydrous ammonia.
The vaporizer had to meet standard ANSI K61.1 for the handling and storage of
anhydrous ammonia. Normally, only tank manufacturers know how to meet this standard,
but they do not make electric heaters. The company contacted Gaumer. We developed a
unique design that allows for both vapor and liquid in the same vessel. Gaumer also
provided a UL listed panel to meet a NEMA 4X electrical classification. As always,
Gaumer Process Heaters, Systems, and Controls delivered the system on time.
