Lift Gas Heater
An engineering firm had a major problem. They needed to provide a lift gas heater to an
oil company in Alaska that was made with low temperature carbon, had a 525kW capacity, and operated at 5250 PSI.
After contacting many heating equipment suppliers, only Gaumer returned their bid package.
Upon receiving the order, Gaumer's engineering staff jumped into action. The circulation heater shell was designed to 3 ½" thick, and
due to ASME requirements, the heater flange was designed to 11 ½" thick. Gaumer was able to fusion
weld the elements to the heater flange to withstand a 7900 PSI hydrostatic test. As
always, Gaumer delivered this custom circulation heater and control panel on time.
